The art and study

of The Guitar

has been my main passion for the last 20 years. Like many, I started out a rock-n-roll-er and improvisor and started writing my own songs, skills I’ve still been exploring with my students over the last 10 years.

When I did finally arrive at the classical guitar, it provided me a way to channel my freedom of expression and creativity into something specific and structured.

As a performer and a teacher, I’ve learned that music isn’t all freedom and it isn’t all structure. Rather, a healthy blend of both, grounded in silence and stillness, is what brings the most satisfaction and joy.

I offer online and in-person lessons for anyone wanting to take up or improve their relationship with this beautiful instrument.

Some Words from students…

"Aaron is truly a spendid person with a great devotion for teaching guitar.  My daughter loves her weekly lessons.  He is a professional not only in his teaching manner, but also an incredible professional guitar player."

— Gessica Guidi

“what I appreciate Aaron for most was his ability to illuminate in my son an awareness of his potential and to chart a feasible pathway to realizing that potential. When my son was brought to see what he was capable of, it inspired a deep confidence that he could realize other talents as well.”
